As a scholarship recipient, I earned a three-month scholarship to study at Future Female Business School. I had to take a four-month term break from my master's degree and language studies to attend this school. Here is a sneak peek of my graduation session:

-----Can you guess which one is me? Lol------
Following my graduation from the business school in September 2022, I began to resume my study for my master's degree and my trilingual courses. However, I found it challenging to keep up with the same pace as before. Nevertheless, I found doing these three things helpful for getting back on track. I hope you will find them helpful as well!❤️👍
Establish A Sensible Schedule in Advance
Prepare a simple plan that you can follow for a week or ten days, and be careful not to overdo it at the beginning. If you intend to start studying tomorrow, plan today. Set a schedule for how long you must study each subject (Selmar Institute of Education, 2021). Organize your time well so that you can study and take breaks. By developing a solid plan, schedule, or routine, you can manage everything efficiently and reduce potential stress.

I put my schedule on Google Calendar, which is synced with all gadgets I have for free. This helps me to get easy access to my schedule, which in turn, provides me with reminders that I need to stay committed and be disciplined. 🔔 Moreover, I arranged my study subjects starting from the things that interest me or are easier for me to understand, so it is not too overwhelming to stick to my study schedule.
Make Meaningful Breaks
Instead of spending time on social media during breaks, consider engaging in purposeful recreational activities. Social media can steal plenty of your precious time if you cannot resist using it, and it can deprive you of your happiness (Zhang et al., 2022). Instead of mindlessly scrolling, try to listen to music, read a book, or close your eyes and rest to prepare your mind for the upcoming study session.

Furthermore, I figure that the more I exercise, the less sedentary I am at my desk, and the better my mood results. You can also benefit your body and mind by exercising for at least 15 minutes daily! 🚴✨ According to University College London (2020), it is essential to take care of our bodies by exercising so that our minds can function at their best and we can study more effectively.
Remember Your Why
You are allowed to take a break and feel lazy from time to time, but never go overboard, or you will fall into a procrastination cycle. Remember your strong why or what kind of life you want, and visualize it vividly whenever you feel lazy. Just as imagining an oasis of water helps a dying wanderer who got lost in the desert to move one step further, envisioning your success can also help you to drag your unmotivated brain to study.

In the end, discipline will take you farther than motivation ever could. Make sure you do not overload yourself during the first week, as it will be tricky to resume your study at the beginning (Selmar Institute of Education, 2021). But as time goes on, everything will get better! Remember, when you remain disciplined and consistent, even though it may be challenging at first, you will be rewarded with good rapport and graduation. So, do not give up on your study! 📖✍️
