But before we get down to the list, do not forget to like ❤️👍 this post and subscribe 🔔 as this will help the channel grow! Also, feel free to share this link with anyone who might also struggle with academic writing. With that being said, let's check these tips out! ✍️

At the beginning of the webinar, Valerie and Wanda talked about plagiarism and what Academic Integrity was. Understanding these two are the core keys to avoiding getting zero and actually nailing your Written Assignments! 📝✍️

One of the best ways to avoid plagiarism is by using proper citation in our Written Assignments 📝✍️ In the webinar, APA citation, one of several ways of citing academic papers, was discussed thoroughly. There are two factors that built APA, which includes In-Text Citations and Reference or Bibliography.

As you watch the webinar, you can practice the exercises that Wanda has prepared! These interactive exercises can help you to distinguish and differentiate which one is plagiarism and which one is paraphrasing. You can watch the full interactive webinar here:

Furthermore, in the webinar, Valerie and Wanda walked the audience through rubric reading. As students, we need to be aware that prior to writing our assignments, we must check what the rubric of the assignment demands from us. The rubric might look different in each school, academic institution, or university, but more or less it will look like this:

Focusing on the prompt as well as the format guide can help you to hit the marks bullseye and elevate your points for sure! 📝✍️

As previously explained, Academic Integrity is comprised of three components: intellectual honesty, legal reasoning, and credibility weight. However, it takes a long time to pay attention to manually creating citations, and our human imperfections may trip us up every now and again. In the webinar, there were several tools and generators shared that can be utilized to uplift the quality of our word choice as well as grammar when we are writing our assignments. Here is one of the free tools that you can access from your Microsoft Word:

At the end of the webinar, Valerie and Wanda concluded that we could elevate our Written Assignments scores by avoiding plagiarism, paraphrasing our ideas, citing our sources properly, paying attention to what our instructor and university require from us by reading the rubrics thoroughly, and triple-checking our grammar as well as our punctuations. 📝✍️

Hope this helps! 💕 How about you? What other things do you usually do to elevate your Written Assignments scores? Please feel free to share in the comment section!
